Course Open - 6 inch placing on fairways - 16th Hole Closed

Par 3 - 228 Metres/249 Yards

Hole Description

The late H.L. Temple, owner of Magee's of Donegal, was instrumental in acquiring the land, both for the original course in Tullycullion, and the present course in Murvagh, and this hole is named in his memory. While much of the history of crop planting on this peninsula has been erased with time, the potato ridges dating back to a previous century are still evident on this hole, and are certainly felt when riding along the fairway in a buggy.

Pro's Tip

This is the longest part 3 on the course, and while the hole looks fairly straightforward from the tee, it demands a good drive to reach the green. A fairway bunker, some yards from the front of the green, catches a missed hit and makes par difficult.
