Course Open - 6 inch placing on fairways - Buggies on course for Permit Holders Only

Par 4 - 391 Metres/428 Yards

Hole Description

St. Ernan, who died around 640 AD, was the nephew of St. Columba, and his monastery was located locally in Drumholm and a local island is named after him. In the early 1800's, John Hamilton built a small 'cottage' on the island, which are still stands inhabited today. Once converted into a hotel, it is now a private residence.

Pro's Tip

The 7th hole, par 4, has been recently remodeled by Pat Ruddy. The long drive should favour the right leaving a second shot in to the green from an elevated height. Shorter hitters should go left leaving a closer shot in to a generous green. Par here is reasonable.
